There are 150 moorings provided and maintained by Mayo County Council at the Quay.
These are managed by the Moy Estuary Sea Trout Angling and Boat Club on behalf of the county council.
Applications for a mooring must be sent directly to The Secretary of the club. Moorings may only be used for a period of 8 months from 1st April to 30th November each year.
All moorings are currently allocated and no further applications can be accepted by the club as of 14 September 2016.
When this situation changes we will place the application form back on this page.
NOTE: The club Safety Boats will be on the water from 1st April to the second last Sunday in October.
The Club convenes a Moorings Sub-Committee which reviews all applications regularly.
Annual Mooring Registration
An annual Mooring Registration evening is generally held in the latter half of February. All mooring holders must register at this meeting.

The annual fee for Membership is currently €30 Single, €40 Family

All moorings are affected by the changing dept of water due to shifting silt deposits and of course the tide. There are a limited number of “deep water moorings” and users must exercise caution when going to and from moorings especially during low water.
